The Channel Cabin is a perfect place to kayak the channel, take the ORVs for a ride, or relax by the quiet fire pit. Enjoy the sound of the native loons in the evening and cruise the endless two tracks by day. The channel connects to not one, but two lakes to explore. Included in your stay is FREE USE OF 4 KAYAKS. You'll never run out of adventures at this newly remodeled picturesque Michigan cabin. Also work remotely with our high speed wifi! Please note there is a maximum of 2 dogs allowed with a $75.00 pet fee. Update: new couch per review requests :)

Guests are welcome to use every square inch of the 1.5 acres. There are 4 kayaks for the guest's pleasure as well, no extra charge!

The cabin site is in a very quiet spot. If you're looking to detach from the rush of everyday life, you've found your getaway. The cabin has neighbors within ear shot and sight. Everyone in the area is very friendly and you will feel right at home in this cabin. While there are some neighbors only one is what I would describe as close. about 100 yards, there is a small patch of trees between the two properties, and we are soon to be adding a privacy fence.

Note: The path to the channel is spongy due to high lake levels. bring sandals or boots :)
We have one neighbor about 100 yards away through some thin pines. Some have said that the bathroom is small, but we have hot water, a vanity, shower, and of course a toilet.
The bedrooms as seen in pictures are separated by curtains. the bath has a standard door for privacy.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
